My name is Frida and I'm running to be your student representative for the Niagara College board of directors. 

I would like to share with you why I am the best person for this important role. I am a first-year Recreation Therapy student. I also have my degree in physiotherapy and through this career have developed a strong sense of empathy and a passion to help others. I am creative and hard-working. I love to dance, sing with my friends and love food (especially food from my beloved country Mexico).

I am excited to have this opportunity to be able to serve as a voice for all of you.

I have been involved in many extracurricular activities since I starting my studies at Niagara college. These activities have allowed me to develop my leadership skills and gain a better understanding of the needs of my peers. I believe that these experiences have prepared me to serve in this role.

If given the opportunity to serve as your representative, I will do my best to ensure that all your concerns are heard and addressed fairly. I am committed to creating a safe and inclusive community where every student feels valued and respected.
