Meet Your 2020

Director of Business Management Candidate

Keeleigh

Donkervoort

Law Clerk Program

Hello, my name is Keeleigh Donkervoort! I am running for the position of Director of Business and Management Studies for the 2020-2021 term!

I am currently enrolled in the Law Clerk Co-Op program. I have some educational background in Criminology and Human Rights & Human Diversity. I am also bilingual, from completing French Immersion education.

I also have a passion for human rights issues. I have volunteered with my school chapters of both Me to We and Amnesty International. I have also been on multiple missions trips to Cape Breton, Nova Scotia; Tegucigalpa, Honduras; and Longlac, Ontario.

I have experience with student council affairs, as I was the Minister of Environment on my high school student council.

With my educational background as well as my volunteer experience, I can’t wait to apply what I’ve learned in law and human rights into practice with this new position!

I want to focus on creating and maintaining a school environment that is inclusive and accessible for our school’s diverse community. As a member of the Executive team, I think it is very important to take the time to hear more from the students about their personal needs and wants, in regards to Niagara College and the NCSAC.

I look forward to getting to know all of you! Feel free to reach out to me anytime if you have any questions or want to know more about me!

Remember, voting will open on Monday, March 9th (12:01am) and will conclude on Thursday, March 12 (4pm).  You will receive a voting link to your @NCstudent email address, so simply open the email, click the link and cast your votes!
