School of Justice & Fitness WINNER

NC Board of Governors Student Rep Candidate

Hi fellow Knights! My name is Melissa Graham, and I’m running to be the next Director of the School of Justice and Fitness. I am currently in my 1st year of the Police Foundations Program. I love making meaningful connections within the student body, in my community within the Niagara Region and the same-minded individuals I come into contact with. Voting for me will ensure your time at Niagara college is a great one as your time should be nothing short of great! Your vote is as important and I want to ensure your voice is heard for all decisions made through NCSAC.

Who is Melissa Graham you ask? That is a valid question! First of all, I have four adorable fur babies and live in Welland with my fiancé. I like to try out new recipes and watch new shows on tv, or rewatching the classics! I enjoy playing video games, learning new things, spending

time with friends and family in my spare time. I am not always talking about school, often you’ll find me sharing silly dad jokes, or learning about new opportunities available. During my time at my previous college from 2010-2013 and 2020 post graduate, I was the founder of a group called “Disable the Label”, which focused on advocating for those who are living with different abilities to be seen as unique and valuable. I have recently volunteered through opportunities at Niagara College and look forward to being a committed volunteer with Victim Services of Niagara.

In conclusion, if you are a Police Foundations student, pursuing a post-secondary program through the School of Justice and Fitness and you are trying to figure out who to vote for, I hope you will consider all that I have to offer. Feel free to check out my Instagram and send me a message or find me in the halls of the Welland Campus. Remember: "I may become a Rookie, but I am a smart cookie!”
