Director of Business & Management Candidate

Roberto
Villao

NC Board of Governors Student Rep Candidate

Hello, knights! I'm Roberto Villao, and I'm on a journey fueled by curiosity, innovation, and a deep desire to make a difference. Born in 2003, I've spent my years immersing myself in the vibrant tapestry of learning and growth, and now, I'm ready to take the next step in service to our community for making our college a better place.

As a third-year Honors Business student, my time at Niagara College of Applied Arts and Technology has been a whirlwind of discovery. With each class and project, I've delved deeper into the complexities of global commerce and development, all while embracing the rich diversity that surrounds me.

My professional path has been a lesson in resilience and adaptability. At the Niagara College Business and Commercialization Innovation Centre, I've had the privilege of working with small and medium businesses across Ontario and Canada, helping them navigate the ever-changing landscape of market dynamics. Through research and collaboration, I've sought to empower these businesses with insights and strategies to thrive in an increasingly competitive world.

My internship at Microsoft was a transformative experience, where I learned the importance of teamwork and creativity in crafting effective marketing strategies. But beyond the boardrooms and offices, it's the connections I've made and the lives I've touched that truly fuel my passion.

In my role as Digital Marketing Manager of the Business and Growth Club, I've had the opportunity to support and uplift my peers, fostering a community where ideas flourish and dreams take flight. And as a leader in the International Confederation of Theotherapy, I've shared my own journey of growth and discovery, hoping to inspire others to pursue their passions with courage and conviction.

My journey hasn't been without its challenges, but each obstacle has only strengthened my resolve to serve you, the students at Niagara College. With your support and trust, I believe we can build a brighter future together.

So, let's embark on this journey hand in hand, united by our shared hopes and dreams. With your voices as my guide and your aspirations as my compass, together, we can write a new chapter of progress and possibility for NC. It's time to roll up our sleeves and get the job done, for the future belongs to  all of us.
