My name is Benerdette Kamau, and I'm excited to announce my candidacy for the position of Director. I am passionate about representing students and making sure every voice is heard and look forward to working collaboratively with fellow board members, staff, and students to build a supportive, inclusive campus community.

 

About me: I enjoy connecting with people and helping students succeed in their academic, professional, and personal journeys. I believe leadership is about listening, understanding concern, and working together to find solutions, and most importantly, seeing them through.

 

In my previous role, I was elected as a school board member and gained valuable experience in leadership and decision-making. The experience strengthened my skills in representing students’ interests effectively.

 

As a student myself, I understand the challenges we face in balancing responsibilities and goals for the future. That's why I want to be someone who advocates for positive change and ensures students feel supported especially in their academic lives.
